At the Stroudsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church, Adventist Community Services (ACS) serves as the practical hands and feet of our ministry family.
We believe that faith manifests most clearly when we look out for our neighbors. In harmony with the holistic outreach directives championed by global Adventist Community Services networks, our mission is straightforward: to meet immediate, tangible needs within our neighborhood with dignity, respect, and unconditional kindness.
When challenges arise, a helping hand can provide vital stability for an entire household. We gather resources, organize volunteers, and operate a consistent local food distribution center to ensure that individuals navigating complex financial seasons find reliable, welcoming relief right when they need it most.
Community Food Pantry
Food Distribution HoursEvery 2nd and 4th Wednesday
2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Our food pantry is open twice a month to supply fresh groceries, shelf-stable staples, and nutritional provisions to local individuals and families. All community members seeking assistance are welcome to visit during our standard distribution window.
Christ's Method of Service
Our approach to community support is inspired by the pattern of ministry left by Jesus. He mixed with people as one who desired their good, showed genuine sympathy, ministered to their immediate requirements, and won their confidence before inviting them into deeper spiritual horizons.
