Children's Ministries

Nurturing Faith.
Sharing Grace.

Partnering with families in Stroudsburg to introduce children to the unconditional love of Jesus through creative learning, safe environments, and cheerful service.

Welcome to our Children’s Ministry family! Following the principles established by the global Seventh-day Adventist Children’s Ministries Department, we believe that children are not just the future of the church—they are a valuable part of it today. Our goal is to support parents by providing a warm, encouraging environment where children can learn who God is and how much He loves them.

From weekly study structures to hands-on family fellowship opportunities, we aim to make the Bible accessible, engaging, and deeply meaningful for growing minds.

Our Three Ministry Values

How we explore the Bible together, build supportive friendships, and help out in our church home.

Value I

Bible Discovery

Learning His Word
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

Developing a friendship with Jesus starts with hearing His stories. Through age-appropriate structural studies, interactive lessons, and creative learning models, we help children understand the fundamental truths of the Bible and notice God’s goodness in their everyday lives.

What We Focus On:

  • Creative Lesson Activities: Using simple object lessons, memory verses, and music to make biblical concepts easy to remember.
  • Parenting Support: Providing families with practical study suggestions to continue exploring structural lessons together at home.
Value II

Safe Community

Growing Together
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God..." — 1 John 4:7

Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, secure, and uniquely valued. We place a high priority on maintaining strict safety standards and cultivating a kind, patient environment where young friendships can naturally grow and flourish.

What We Provide:

  • Caring Volunteers: Placing children under the guidance of background-screened helpers who love teaching.
  • Welcoming Atmosphere: Ensuring that every child, whether visiting for the first time or attending regularly, feels welcome.
Value III

Willing Hearts

Learning to Serve
"Even a child makes himself known by his acts, by whether his conduct is pure and upright." — Proverbs 20:11

Children naturally enjoy being helpful. We look for comfortable, stress-free opportunities for kids to share their joy, assist with simple tasks around the church, and experience the happiness that comes from helping others.

How We Partner:

  • In-Church Fellowship: Lending an active hand to multi-generational church events, family field days, and youth devotionals.
