Personal Ministries
Answering the call of the Gospel commission through everyday relationships, local outreach, and shared truth.
At the Stroudsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church, Personal Ministries is not just a department—it is the heartbeat of our collective identity as followers of Christ.
Sharing your faith doesn't require complex training or high-pressure methods. In harmony with the global **Total Member Involvement (TMI)** framework, we believe that personal evangelism flows naturally out of a life transformed by God's grace. True witnessing begins exactly where you are: inside your home, at your workplace, and across your daily interactions in the Stroudsburg community.
Every member of our church family has been uniquely gifted by the Holy Spirit. Personal Ministries exists to help you discover those unique strengths and provide comfortable, practical avenues to share the hope of the everlasting gospel through intentional kindness, personal testimony, and open Bible study.
Living the Commission
- Lifestyle Witnessing Learning to naturally share what Jesus is doing in your life through casual conversations, high-trust friendships, and acts of unexpected daily kindness.
- Bible Study Partnerships Guiding neighbors and seekers into comfortable, systematic explorations of Scripture, helping them unlock prophetic clarity and a deep friendship with Christ.
- Community Outreach Uniting our church family to hand out local resources, support health initiatives, and offer real hope directly to families across the Poconos region.
Christ's Method Alone
Our model for personal ministry is drawn entirely from the blueprint left by Jesus. True evangelism doesn't look at people as tasks—it treats them with genuine sympathy, addresses real human needs, wins their lasting confidence, and then bids them to follow the Savior.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." — Matthew 28:19-20
By focusing on supportive peer interactions, interactive small-group studies, and active local benevolence, we break down old walls of isolation. Together, we learn to function as an active, extended family of faith—fully equipped to stand as dynamic lights for God's final message of love.
